Often times I am asked to describe a particular artist’s work. And often times doing so is rather simple. That’s because in most cases an artist that’s good at what they do become synonymous with a specific adjective or two. For example, Todd Reed is raw elegance, while Todd Pownell is alternative bridal. But every once in awhile, I encounter an artist that is simple impossible to define with a mere one or two adjectives. Jennifer Dawes is one of those artists.

Her rings are alluring, captivating, inspiring, elegant, refined, bold, vibrant, and of course…breathtaking. She uses recycled diamonds, sustainably sourced metals, and ethical metalsmithing practices in designing each of her pieces. Often we are defined not just by where we have been but also by where we are going. But with the way things are as of late…where exactly are we going? Usually we work very hard to build a solid foundation and hope to find a best friend in a lover along the way. We share our time with them. We share our hearts with them. And we share our souls with them. All in the hopes to one day be able to make a promise to spend the rest of our lives with them. Over the years I have been honored to have played a small role in helping many couples fulfill the promise of lifelong love with one another. However when I see what is happening in the world today I get a sense that these promises are being forced to wait it out before they can be made.

There isn’t much I can do to help any of us get past the uncertainty that we are all dealing with nowadays. But since our need to express our promise of love to one another will always remain the same, I do believe that I can try to make things a little easier. So in an effort to help make that promise more doable, I have temporarily reduced our bridal collection of in-stock Todd Reed rings. I’ve also offered various payment over time options so you won’t feel stressed with the immediate cost of a high valued purchase. At a time in our lives when promising our heart to one another is most needed, the last hurdle you should have to deal with is affordability.

One of the best things about doing what I do is that I often get to play a role in one of the most important parts of almost any love story. Allow me to explain. In any love story you have a simple premise; someone…finds someone else…and eventually they fall deeply in love. They promise to spend a long life hand in hand and usually end up creating and forever adding to what becomes a wonderful family. A family whose members will often end up starting the very same cycle of life all over again in the decades that follow. All in all, that is how most love is found, grown, and shared.

When I reflect back upon my years in this business I find myself in awe at the amount of people whose lives have been affected by something small that we did. You see, no matter who plays the leads in the love story, there almost always comes a point in time when someone feels the need to show someone else just how much they love them. And this is where we come in. We have sold hundreds upon hundreds of engagement rings and wedding bands to lovers over the years. And these people wear our rings daily. They use these rings as a constant reminder of the love they have and of the love they will continue to build. They use these rings to share their love of each other with the rest of the world. Families are formed. Families are grown. And when it’s time to do so, the next generation creates families of their own.
