Tiny Galaxies is the brainchild of Sara Broski of Kingston, Pennsylvania. She says, “My journey as a jewelry designer began by accident. Working as a web and graphic artist, I painted on the side and that satisfied my creative outlet for a while. Jewelry has always been something I’ve loved and admired, more than anything else. Wearing it made me feel special, and knowing that someone had made what I was wearing with their hands felt even more special. I eventually started making some myself. Little by little, I bought supplies for making resin and precious metal clay jewelry. I experimented, making things for myself for awhile. Eventually I realized that I might have something, a unique idea that I’ve never seen elsewhere. I decided to open up an Etsy shop and listed a few pairs of earrings and necklaces, with a simple, clean, and glittery theme. Each piece reminded me of a tiny galaxy, so naming my brand was very organic. People began to buy what I was making, and my shop kept growing. I now make jewelry full time, and could never have imagined that opening up an Etsy shop on a whim would lead me to where I am today. Controlling my own income and life, while making pretty things for people to wear, is truly an amazing feeling!”

The Monsoon Collection is a grouping of Artfully Elegant’s artists over the years, as well as our own line of jewelry. Harkening back to our roots as Monsoon Gallery, we feature special artists throughout our history. The collection currently consists of fine art original oils and acrylics, serigraphs, lithographs, and giclees are from artists known around the world.

Kelly and Leslie Tiano are a daughter and mother-in-law team who have been designing and creating jewelry together since 2000. They started using recycled glass bottles as the main medium in their jewelry designs in 2009 and opened reVetro in 2011. Their passion for upcycling discarded wood, metal, fiber, paper and glass is the inspiration behind all of their lines. With four decades of experience in design and repurposing, reVetro is powered by endless innovation.

I create nursery, abstract, inspirational and motivational art. I also do fabric design for the high end fashion industry. I really enjoy creating the patterns with paint and then selecting the best bits to use. It is always exciting for me because there is an element of surprise involved. Sometimes a whole sheet of paper will be a dud; other times, it’s magic. I especially like using papers that have some connection to my past, like old postcards, letters, wallpaper, stamps and anything with visual interest or richness. Whenever I find interesting paper ephemera I stash it away for later. Kathy Panton makes beautiful pieces for any kids room.

REPURPOSING
The bottom line is we hate seeing good materials being thrown away when they can be reused and repurposed to create something beautiful. We have a variety of sources for the reclaimed lumber we use including: shipping pallets, crates, discarded construction materials and building demolition.

GRAPHICS
This is what it’s all about. The words, the typography, the colors, the images. We love being able to take a simple quote and make it visually appealing.

UNIQUENESS
Using reclaimed lumber adds unique characteristics to our products. Some have dings, some have knots, some have holes, some vary in color and some have all these characteristics. That’s what makes each individual item unique.
